Office of Faculty Affairs

Who We Are

The Office of Faculty Affairs (OFA) at Tufts University School of Medicine supports the appointment, reappointment, promotion, and tenure processes for nearly 5,000 faculty members. Additionally, the OFA manages annual appointments for over 1,200 residents and fellows based at Tufts-affiliated hospitals and graduate medical education programs, and provides credentialing verification for current and former faculty and trainees.

The OFA serves as a central resource for information about faculty, and as a resource and referral source for faculty appointment, promotion, tenure and leave of absence policies and procedures.

We are committed to supporting and advancing the academic careers of our faculty and welcome your questions and feedback at any time!
