Years of Service Awards
Each year, faculty members who have served the Tufts University School of Medicine, its students and trainees are recognized for attaining 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service. Those faculty members who have served for 25 years are specifically honored at the annual General Faculty Meeting.
Tufts faculty bring an incredibly varied and diverse portfolio of exceptional experience and skills to our missions of teaching, research, scholarship, and service at all levels. At the Tufts University School of Medicine, promotion is based on a faculty member’s professional achievements and recognition in their respective field. It includes their contributions to teaching, research, clinical care or public health, and the resulting scholarship arising out of their activities. It also recognizes their extensive service contributions to institutional, professional, and community-based and global health. Faculty promoted to the rank of Associate Professor or Professor are specifically honored at the annual General Faculty Meeting.
