The purpose of Jumbo Support is to create a safe, comfortable, and supportive space for students who are balancing academics and a significant personal issue. Here, students can express their feelings among peers who truly understand the situation and who may offer insights that typically come from firsthand experience.
Grief Support Group:
Are you mourning the death of a family member/friend while at school? Do you need help coping with the loss of a loved one? Or, if you have experienced this, would you feel comfortable sharing your story with others? Grief support groups are held throughout the semester. See the calendar for upcoming sessions.
Students Dealing with Family Illness:
Are you struggling to care for a family member who is ill or disabled while balancing the demands of school? Join this support group, where you can meet with others dealing with this particular issue. These meetings are held throughout the semester. See the calendar for upcoming sessions.
Transitions Support Group:
Are you new to Boston, returning to the classroom after a long absence, juggling academics and family life or generally having some difficulties adjusting to your new schedule? If you are, this group is here for you! See the calendar for upcoming sessions.
