Research/Areas of Interest:
My prior experience includes infectious disease and antimicrobial targets and drug discovery, microbial biodiversity, marine microbiology, gene expression, protein production, and molecular genetics of bacteria and bacteriophages. I am now interested in bringing my varied experience to understanding the pathogenic mechanisms of enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli O157:H7, Streptococcus pneumonia, and the Lyme disease spirochete Borreliae burgdorferi.
