About Us

Our Mission

The Tufts Center for Health Systems and Policy combines timely evidence and rigorous analysis to inform state health policy, transform health systems, and improve population health.

Goals

At the Tufts Center for Health Systems and Policy, we have two primary goals: (1) to generate knowledge from applied research to improve health services, systems, and policy, and (2) to train the next generation of health policy analysts and system scientists.

Commitment to Anti-Racism, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

At the Tufts Center for Health Systems and Policy, we are committed to advancing research, policy, and practice that furthers the strategic plan goals of the Tufts University School of Medicine to transform into an anti-racist institution. We aim to use our knowledge generation and dissemination efforts to advance improvements in population health that address the historic racial inequities that persist in our health care system, and to promote the inclusion of diverse voices in identifying strategies for change. We encourage others to make use of the wealth of resources assembled in this Anti-Racism Resource Guide prepared by Hirsch Health Sciences Library staff.
