Tufts Medical Center's Residency Program:

Tufts Medical Center has a long tradition of high quality training with excellence in all general and specialty areas of Obstetrics and Gynecology. We have active divisions in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, and Family Planning. Most of the residency training occurs at our home institution – Tufts Medical Center. In addition, our four partners – St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, MetroWest Medical Center, Lahey Clinic, and the Cambridge Health Alliance – make important contributions to increase the breadth and depth of the residents' clinical experiences. The program has a unique balance of university- and community-based experiences, evidence-based and cutting-edge practices, all with dedicated faculty and staff to guide and mentor the residents through their training. We maintain an elective rotation during the PGY-3 year which allows residents the opportunity to explore individualized curriculum enhancement such as international work, away rotations, and full-time research activities. In addition, residents are matched with career and research mentors to ensure that their goals are fulfilled to the highest potential.
