The White Coats Ceremony is a rite of passage for first-year medical students and symbolizes the start of their journey toward becoming doctors.

The receiving of a white coat symbolizes institutional trust that Physician Assistant students are ready to begin practicing medicine as they prepare for clinical rotations.
