In-Person Medical Care
Tufts Medical Center’s Collegiate Center for Wellness (CCW) offers students convenient access to medical care and provides a bridge to further care for individuals with chronic conditions requiring specialized management, on a limited basis. While not intended to replace a primary care provider, the CCW is able address health matters including flu and COVID-19 concerns, as well as counseling and support for reproductive health and a wide range of other medical needs.
- Location: Floating Building at Tufts Medical Center, 3rd floor near the elevator bank (look for the sign)
- Hours: Monday-Friday from 9am – 5pm
- Appointment Scheduling: Call 617-636-6006 and select option #4 for Tufts University. Both in-person and telehealth options are available, and most appointments are offered same day or within 1 business day.
Behavioral Health Services
Talk One2One Student Assistance Program
Tufts partners with AllOne Health (TalkOne2One Student Assistance Program) to offer you in-person and virtual counseling appointments.
Talk One2One provides confidential access to counselors both in-person and by telephone. For non-emergent issues, students can schedule an appointment with a TalkOne2One counselor by sending an email to a secure group email account: tuftscounseling@allonehealth.com. The emails will be responded to by the confidential Talk One2One team and you will receive an immediate reply requesting time preferences, etc. A personal response with your appointment time should be received within 24 business hours of your email.
Students can reach out to Talk One2One counselors at any time 24/7 by calling 1-800-756-3124 for “in the moment” support by a master’s-level licensed counselor or can schedule a future in-person (or telephone) appointment. The in-person appointments can be scheduled with Talk One2One counselors who will be located on the Boston Campus during the following hours:
- Monday: 12pm – 7pm
- Tuesday: 8am – 3pm
- Wednesday: 12pm – 7pm
- Thursday: 8am – 3pm
- Friday: 8am – 3pm
Additionally, students may be seen by Talk One2One counselors at off-campus locations that are convenient to where you live or near a clinical site that you are working at.
Talk One2One is provided by All One Health and is available free of charge to all matriculated students on the Boston health sciences campus. This service is not intended to replace ongoing therapy or psychiatric services but is an additional resource to address short-term mental health counseling needs.
Psychiatry
Boston Student Health Services provides psychiatric diagnosis and medical prescribing services.
Services
All full-time, in-person students on the Boston campus have access to a full range of in-person and virtual psychiatric services, including patient education, consultation, evaluation and treatment, and crisis management.
Students studying in Maine and students on the Grafton campus will have access to these services virtually.
Students on the Boston campus and in Maine also will have virtual access to behavioral health and counseling services offered to Grafton campus students.

Hours
- Monday – Friday: 11am – 7pm (available in-person three days per week and virtually five days per week; days vary)
- The office is closed on weekends and on Tufts University holidays
Scheduling Non-Emergency Appointments
To schedule a non-emergency appointment:
- Complete the HIPAA-compliant intake form;
- Email Boston Student Health Services; or
- Call 617-636-2750 (Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 3:15pm)
Once scheduled by email or phone, you will be sent a link to the HIPAA-compliant intake form. Once submitted, a Boston Student Health Services staff member will contact you within 2 business days to schedule an appointment. New appointments are generally available within 1-2 weeks of your request.

We are a team of dedicated mental health clinicians who understand how difficult life can be and how important it is to be able to step away from it all and speak to someone in a safe space. Under the direction of our skilled and caring providers, we offer support through difficult times.
Ralph Eugene, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Ralph Eugene has more than 10 years’ experience providing patient-centered, evidence-based, psychiatric and behavioral health care. Most recently, Eugene worked as a psychiatric nurse practitioner with CharterCARE Health Partners at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital and Roger Williams Medical Center, a leading academic-teaching hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, and as a behavioral health care consultant for Optum Behavioral Care. He received a Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University’s College of Nursing and Health Professions and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate from Wilkes University.
Ralph primarily provides students on the Boston campus with a full range of in-person and virtual psychiatric services, including patient education, consultation, evaluation and treatment, and crisis management. Ralph offers virtual psychiatric services to students on the Grafton campus and to Tufts students studying in Maine.

Virginia Ndoro, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C
Virginia Ndoro is a psychiatric nurse practitioner with more than 20 years’ experience working in a variety of crisis and outpatient settings. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Massachusetts in Boston, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Salem State University, and a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on family medicine and a Psychiatry Post-Graduate Certification from Regis College. Virginia has experience as a faculty member at the University of Massachusetts in Boston and as a clincal nurse practitioner in a variety of settings. Most recently, she worked at a stabilization unit that provided respite care for individuals with acute behavioral health or substance abuse disorders. Additional areas of clinical interest are related to Martha Rogers’ Science of Unitary Human Beings specifically in examining and implementing pandimensionality in treatment plans. She embraces a holistic approach to treatment that integrates medication management, self-care, and consistent psychotherapy.
Virginia offers virtual services to students on the Boston campus and to Tufts students studying in Maine, including behavioral health diagnosis, treatment, and medication management. She treats symptoms associated with depression and anxiety, such as lack of energy, motivation, and poor sleep and diagnoses and treats ADD and ADHD.

Dr. Julie Thayer, Psy. D.
Julie is a licensed psychologist with extensive experience in therapy and consultation across the lifespan. She earned her bachelor’s in psychology from Northeastern University and her doctorate from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology. Julie completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Metrowest Behavioral Health Center, specializing in complex trauma assessment and treatment. She has held clinical, supervisory, and administrative roles in partial hospital and outpatient settings and is part of a national training team for trauma-focused youth and family treatment. Her clinical interests include anxiety, caregiver consultation, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Julie is available for virtual appointments with students on the Boston health sciences campus. She provides short-and longer-term clinical counseling services, including evaluation and treatment of individuals and student couples, group counseling, and crisis intervention and management.

Sexual Misconduct, Health, and Well-Being Support
Center for Awareness, Resources, and Education (CARE) staff are here to support anyone impacted by sexual misconduct. We provide confidential, trauma-informed emotional support that can include helping with academic flexibility, answering any questions about reporting, accompanying you to appointments, and/or connecting you to other resources. We are a free, non-insurance-based service for any Tufts student.
