MBS Career Pathways & Outcomes
Health Professional Pathways
Each summer, Career Services issues an employment survey to alumni of all programs who graduated one year ago. We are pleased to report that a majority of our graduates consistently find employment within the first three months after graduating. Take a closer look at the results of our surveys.
MBS graduates typically follow one of two trajectories:
- Admission to health professional schools: Many students continue their education to become medical doctors (MD), doctors of osteopathic medicine (DO), or dentists (DMD/DDS).
- On average:
- 81%+ of graduates are admitted to medical school
- 97%+ are admitted to dental school
- On average:
- Employment in health-related fields: Others transition directly into careers that leverage their biomedical science training.
