The Value of an MPH in Today’s World
The field of public health has become increasingly complex and interconnected. The Master of Public Health (MPH) degree program at Tufts University School of Medicine prepares you to face global health issues from emerging infectious diseases to the growing burden of chronic conditions and health disparities. MPH Program Outcomes
Each summer, Career Services issues an employment survey to alumni of all programs who graduated one year ago. We are pleased to report that a majority of our graduates consistently find employment within the first three months after graduating.
2024 MPH Graduating Class - Employment Statistics*
The Tufts Public Health Program collects employment data on graduates one year after their graduation date. The data below represents the graduating class of 2024 of the on-campus MPH (based on graduates who reported outcomes).
- 95% of our students were either employed, in voluntary service, or continuing education following graduation.
- 50% of our students were employed prior to graduation.
- 85% of our students were employed within six months.
