Which Office Supports You?
Depending on your program, you will work with one of the following offices:
Student Affairs - MD Program
The Office of Student Affairs provides guidance, support, and administrative assistance to medical students.
Student Services - Graduate Programs
The Office of Graduate Student Services provides guidance, support, and administrative assistance to students in the MPH, DPT, PA and MBS programs.
Office of Student Affairs (OSA)
Supporting MD Students
The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) is your central resource for guidance, support, and administrative assistance throughout medical school. Whether you have questions about academics, wellness, or career planning, OSA is here to help.
Key Areas of Support (OSA):
- Academic & Career Guidance – Academic advising, career planning, residency preparation, and research opportunities
- Student Wellness & Support – Personal counseling, wellness resources, accessibility services, and mistreatment reporting
- Community & Leadership – Learning Community Program, student organizations, class officers, and student government
- Events & Milestones – Orientation, White Coat Ceremony, Match Day, Commencement, and Residency Nights
- Administrative & Faculty Liaison – Faculty coordination, student evaluations, tutorial program, and the Student Ethics and Promotions Committee
- Campus Life Resources – Off-campus housing listings and general student life support

Office of Graduate Student Services (OGSS)
Supporting Graduate Program Students
The Office of Graduate Student Services (OGSS) supports students in the following programs:
- Master of Public Health (MPH)
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Physician Assistant (PA)
- Master of Biomedical Sciences (MBS)
Key Areas of Support (OGSS):
- Academic & Career Services – Academic advising, class scheduling, registration support, and career development resources
- Student Life & Engagement – Orientation, special ceremonies, student organizations, and community-building activities
- Administrative & Faculty Liaison – Coordination with faculty and administration, support for dual and combined degree programs
- Graduation & Program Milestones – Commencement planning and program completion support
- Digital Resources – Access to the Graduate Student Services Canvas course and other online tools
