Leadership development that fits into real life
Health professionals are asked to lead every day, sometimes without ever being given the time or tools to learn how.
You may be trying to understand what is changing around your organization. Build a stronger team. Make a difficult decision. Figure out what kind of leader you want to be.
Sometimes you do not need another degree, certificate program, or day-long workshop.
You need a focused way to think through the problem, learn a useful framework, and get back to work.
Why Tufts?
Leadership in health care is different.
Health care leaders work at the intersection of people, organizations, systems, evidence, policy, resources, and competing priorities. The decisions are rarely simple, and the consequences matter.
At Tufts University School of Medicine, public health education emphasizes applying evidence and practical skills to complex, real-world health challenges. Our faculty bring perspectives from health care management, public health, policy, medicine, research, and practice.
These Professional Education microcourses bring that same applied approach to leadership development in a much shorter format.
You don't have time to enroll in another degree program. You are choosing one challenge, spending 90 focused minutes on it, and leaving with a clearer way to approach your work.
