Lab Spaces

The Jaharis Center is home to over fifty different laboratories focused on basic and translational sciences research. The lab spaces occupy the upper floors of nine-story building and feature an open, flexible and modern layout. Graduate students, medical students, postdoctoral scholars and other professional degree students come together here to advance our research mission.

Take a tour of one of the labs, The Pilar Alcaide Lab, which is located on the fifth floor.

Jaharis Lounge

The lounge is located on the first floor of the Jaharis Center and adjacent to the Jaharis Courtyard. The lounge is a great place to take a break from class or lab work. There is no food served there but students can use tables for eating their lunches or studying with peers.

The space is also used to host student-run events, graduation receptions, alumni reunions, and other programming.

Jaharis Courtyard

When the Boston weather turns sunny, head to the Jaharis Courtyard where you’ll find a large grassy open area great for studying and picnicking, along with several tables.

The Courtyard plays host to receptions, barbecues, reunions, and other events throughout the year.
