At the time of death, preregistered or not, the person responsible for making final arrangements should immediately contact the Tufts University Anatomical Gift Program at 617-636-0837.
If the donation is accepted, Tufts Anatomical Gift Program will work with your funeral home to arrange transportation to the school and secure the necessary paperwork. Tufts University will pay a stipend approved by the university to the providing funeral home. Any expenses incurred beyond the stipend is the responsibility of the family or estate.
