Health Management & Policy
The Health Management and Policy (HMP) concentration at Tufts University’s MPH program equips students with the expertise to transform the healthcare system, promoting individual and population health, and delivering equitable, patient-centered care. Students develop deep knowledge in health care systems, state and federal health policy, and health economics, alongside essential skills in policy analysis, health law, and health care management. Graduates are prepared for impactful careers in healthcare administration, government, policy and advocacy, or health care consulting, addressing key issues like health equity and access.
Our curriculum, rooted in public health fundamentals, empowers students to use critical public health frameworks to tackle disparities in healthcare access, affordability, and quality. Graduates innovate solutions to the complex challenges facing the U.S. healthcare system, making a tangible difference in the field.
This concentration is offered on-campus and through our accelerated MPH program. Beginning Fall 2025, the HMP concentration will also be available online.
