Student Advisory & Health Administration

The Student Advisory Health Administration Office (SAHA) is a division of Student Affairs for the Boston and Grafton Health Sciences Campuses. The schools for which services are provided include: the School of Dental Medicine, the School of Medicine, the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, the Tufts Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, and the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine.

An annual mandatory Health & Wellness fee is automatically billed to all students for health services and services provided by SAHA.

Health & Wellness Fee for the 2026-20267 academic year will be:

  • Boston in-person: $1,200
  • Maine Medical Track Students in-person and Maine-based GSBS in-person students: $988
  • Grafton Cummings in-person students: $1,200
  • Students in fully hybrid or virtual academic programs will only pay the Health Administration Fee of $250 (These programs do not have access to services provided by University Health Services)

In each case, the Health & Wellness Fee includes the Health Administration Fee, which remains unchanged at $250. The Health & Wellness fee will be divided and billed equally between the fall and spring semesters.

The updated in-person Health & Wellness Fee covers office visits at Student Health Services for Boston, services offered via Trellis Health in collaboration with Maine Medical Center for Maine based students and office visits at Student Health Services for Grafton Students. However, fees for additional services may be billed to either your health insurance or your Bursar’s account.

The Office of Student Wellness launched in Fall of 2022. Please visit the following pages for more information on student wellness support and the student wellness advisor.

No medical services are provided by the SAHA office.
