Biography

Dr. Errichetti is a public health researcher with expertise in program evaluation, health planning, and public health informatics. Trained as an epidemiologist, Dr. Errichetti is passionate about making evidence-based research and public health data more accessible to communities to ensure just and equitable decision-making. For this reason, she works extensively to support public health departments in developing data visuals and reports that people will understand - and use - at all levels of society. Dr. Errichetti's primary area of research is the implementation of health care innovations and models of delivery in communities at the US-Mexico border. More broadly, she seeks public health research practice opportunities to build the capacity of communities historically ignored by mainstream science to undertake research for their own benefit. Dr. Errichetti loves to share real examples from her over 15 years of professional experience to the classroom, with the goal of helping students develop practical skills that will serve them in whatever career they choose.

Before coming to Tufts, Dr. Errichetti worked as a consultant conducting research for hire for government and private clients. She is known for supporting public health departments through the community health improvement process using a health equity approach. Dr. Errichetti has also served in senior leadership roles in non-profit organizations, including Director of Research and Evaluation at Health Resources in Action and Director of Digital Services and Technology at the National Institute for Children's Health Quality. She also served for two terms as an elected member of the North Reading School Committee in Massachusetts.

Dr. Errichetti lives with her toddler, husband Vincent, and 19-year old dog Bunny in southern Massachusetts. She loves to paint in watercolor and watch British television. Dr. Errichetti received her doctorate in public health from Boston University School of Public Health, masters in public health from Yale University, and bachelor's of art from Wellesley College. She wrote her dissertation on Massachusetts anti-bullying policy.
