Research/Areas of Interest
Dr. Galley's scholarly interests center on health professions education, with particular emphasis on DPT hybrid education, clinical education, and student learning and development. Her research interests include student experiences and outcomes across didactic and clinical education, clinical placement and experiential learning, innovative approaches to preparing students for clinical practice, and best practices in hybrid and accelerated DPT education. Additional areas of scholarly interest include leadership and programmatic effectiveness in health professions education, as well as oncology rehabilitation and lymphedema management.

Biography
Robin E. Galley, PT, DPT, EdD, is an Associate Professor and Co-Director of Student Affairs in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Tufts University School of Medicine. She is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy, a Certified Oncology Rehabilitation Expert, and a Certified Lymphedema and Wound Care Therapist.
Dr. Galley has worked full-time in hybrid DPT education since 2012 and brings more than a decade of experience in clinical education leadership, including service as a Director of Clinical Education. Her professional and scholarly work focuses on health professions education, clinical education, student learning and development, and preparation for clinical practice and licensure. She also maintains expertise and scholarly interests in oncology rehabilitation and lymphedema management.
In addition to her faculty and leadership roles, Dr. Galley values the opportunity to mentor and support students throughout their professional development. Her approach to education reflects a commitment to creating meaningful connections between the classroom, clinical practice, and the development of confident, reflective future physical therapists.
Dr. Galley maintains an active connection to the physical therapy profession through clinical practice in oncology rehabilitation. Outside of her professional roles, she enjoys fitness, travel, and spending time with her family.
