Biography
Dr. Dev's research focuses on global mental health, with particular attention to the social and structural determinants of mental illness and mental health care access in under-resourced settings. With financial support from the National Institute of Mental Health as well as Tufts University, her work examines how socioeconomic disparities, stigma, and community contexts shape mental health outcomes, and how evidence-based, task-shared psychological interventions can be adapted and delivered at scale. Dr. Dev's research spans multiple countries, including India, Chile, Brazil, and the United States, and draws on mixed methods, implementation science, and community-engaged approaches.
Dr. Dev teaches courses in global health and research methods in the MPH program, and finds enjoyment in mentoring students.
