Biography

Dr. Jennifer Jeffrey Bell is an Associate Professor and Director of Curriculum for the Tufts Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in Phoenix, where she leads faculty development, curricular innovation, and cross-campus collaboration. She is deeply committed to inclusive and evidence-based education, having redeveloped foundational coursework, supported national and international faculty, and integrated Universal Design for Learning across the curriculum. Dr. Bell is actively engaged in scholarship related to physical therapy education and collaborative international research on clinical education outcomes in East Africa. Her service extends beyond the university through her leadership at the international level with the Physiotherapy Council of Kenya all the way to the local level as a board member with Go Run Missoula, and participation in the grant-funded EMPOWER program supporting underrepresented students. Passionate about advancing equity, primary care, and global health in physical therapy, Dr. Bell continues to shape the profession through mentorship, research, and strategic leadership.
