Neuroscience PhD
The Department of Neuroscience hosts a PhD training program in Neuroscience that is based at Tufts Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, the biomedical graduate school of Tufts University. The faculty of 43 is drawn from the Department of Neuroscience and includes neuroscientists based in other research departments at Tufts University School of Medicine and throughout Tufts University as well as The Jackson Laboratory in Bar Harbor, Maine.
The PhD program also hosts Neuro at JAX, a program in which students complete their thesis work under the guidance of mentors based at The Jackson Laboratory in Bar Harbor, Maine.
The program is currently training over 30 students, many of whom are working in laboratories within the Department of Neuroscience.
