JD/MPH with Suffolk University Law School

Students may apply to the JD/MPH dual degree program either simultaneously with their application to Suffolk University Law School or during their first year of law school at Suffolk. To apply for the dual degree program, a  Tufts JD/MPH application must be submitted, which includes a personal statement and basic demographic information. After submitting the Tufts application, if the applicant is admitted to the JD program, Tufts will obtain the application materials previously submitted to CAS for the Suffolk Law School application and use those materials to review the applicant’s eligibility for the MPH program, including letters of recommendation and LSAT scores (GRE scores are not required).

The Tufts MPH application can be found online.

Curriculum

Completion of the JD/MPH dual degree program typically takes three and a half years, rather than the average four-and-a-half to five years if the degrees were pursued separately. Students can enter the program either in the summer prior to matriculation in law school or after their 1L year.
