Educational Grants
The Office of Educational Affairs (OEA) provides Tufts University School of Medicine faculty with assistance in the conceptualization, preparation, submission, and administration of curriculum-related grants and oversees multidisciplinary educational grants that benefit from centralized coordination and administration.
In addition to providing individual faculty development opportunities, extramural grant activities, intramural grant programs, and community service learning initiative grants have helped integrate overarching themes that are fundamental to a Tufts School of Medicine education.
The Office of the Provost administers two seed grant programs, Tufts Collaborates and Tufts Innovates.
Innovations in Education Intramural Grant
In recognition of the importance of teaching at Tufts, former Dean, Michael Rosenblatt, MD, introduced the Innovations in Education Intramural Grant Program in 2004. This program is designed to promote and support teaching innovations developed by our faculty that will enhance the core educational programs and overall mission of Tufts University School of Medicine.
Mary Y. Lee, MD, J75, M84 CSL Faculty Mini Grants
Tufts School of Medicine faculty are invited to apply for up to $7500 to fund the development of a new CSL initiative or improvement of existing initiatives. Grants will be awarded to faculty on a competitive basis according to the selection criteria.
