Professional School Application Alignment:

Medical school (AMCAS): Applications typically open in May, with submissions beginning in June and interviews occurring fall through spring.

• In practice, many students apply to Tufts MBS program medical track in winter or spring, begin the program In August complete the didactic portion of the program and apply to medical school in the subsequent application cycle while completing their thesis. This sequencing allows students to strengthen their academic foundation, build readiness for professional school, and submit more competitive, confident applications.

Dental school (AADSAS): Applications typically open in May, with submissions beginning in June and interviews occurring on a rolling basis.

• While pre-dental students will also apply Tufts MBS in winter or spring, they typically apply to dental schools before or during the beginning of the MBS program, which automatically puts them in the interview linkage program with Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. This sequencing allows pre-dental students to interview at TUSDM following the Fall semester, and if accepted, then matriculate directly into dental school at Tufts upon completion of the MBS Spring semester.
