Biography
Dr. Neeti Pathare is an Associate Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Tufts University. Dr. Pathare serves as the primary instructor for Human Physiology, Pharmacology, Cardiopulmonary Practice Management. From a scholarship perspective, Dr. Pathare continues to engage in collaborative community research in the areas of childhood obesity and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Pathare has co-authored 22 publications, numerous presentations at national conferences, and received funding for her scholarship ($35,801). , Dr. Pathare is part of the CELT /Tisch College Social-Emotional Learning for Equity and Civic Teaching (SELECT) Faculty Fellows program cohort (2021-22). Dr. Pathare currently serves on the Nominating Committee and the Communications Committee for the Academy of Physical Therapy Research as well as a member of the Research Committee, APTA Academy of Education. She has practiced physical therapy in a variety of settings, with an emphasis on cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. She was awarded the Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Sections' (APTA) Mentoring Award in 2014 as a recognition for mentoring professionals in this clinical area of practice. Dr. Pathare's research was the recipient of the Robert Salant Research award (New York Physical Therapy Association's conference) in the years 2011, 2013, and 2017.
