Reunion Term Scholarships

A MEANINGFUL GIFT IN HONOR OF A MILESTONE

A Reunion Term Scholarship is an exclusive giving opportunity that allows alumni celebrating reunions to provide direct scholarship support to medical students with financial need. The gift amount is determined by the graduate’s reunion milestone and is pledged over five years. Each annual contribution covers a partial tuition scholarship and is distributed to one or more students each year. Alumni who establish a Reunion Term Scholarship will receive annual reports that allow them to get to know their student recipient and the impact that the scholarship has had on their medical education

Your generosity is a part of my development as a physician, and because of that I can assure you that it will never be forgotten. I am extremely grateful for your support, and I hope to prove that by doing the same for others in the future.

Brandonn Zamudio-Hill, M24

WANT TO MAKE A BIGGER IMPACT?

Band together with classmates to increase the amount of the total term scholarship and provide even more support to future physicians.

HELP YOUR CLASS REACH NEW HEIGHTS

The entire amount of your pledge will count towards your reunion class gift and towards your class’s totals for the Reunion Class Giving Awards. This gets your class one step closer to being added to the plaque and securing one (or more) of the coveted trophies that are presented during your reunion celebration.

FLEXIBLE FUNDING CHOICES

Scholarships may be created with gifts of cash, securities, gifts from Donor Advised Funds, or (if you are over the age of 70.5) qualified charitable distributions from your IRA.

The financial assistance you provided will be of great help to me in paying my educational expenses; this will allow me to choose my specialty based on interest and greater impact on the underserved community. Without your support, students such as me would be unable to pursue advanced health-care degrees.

LASTING CONNECTIONS

In addition to the annual scholarship report, each year, you will be invited to join others who have established scholarships at a celebration where you will meet scholarship recipients and receive the thanks of the Tufts School of Medicine community for your leadership and generosity.
