The inaugural program includes:
- interactive discussions with clinicians and TUSM faculty and medical professions students.
- exposure to multiple healthcare career pathways, such as MD, PA, DMD and other clinical roles, helping students determine the best fit for their interests and goals.
- mapping out the key components of the medical school application process, including timelines, academic and extracurricular requirements, and preparation strategies.
Medical Education Experiential Learning
Get a feel for what it is like to be a student at TUSM through
- clinical case simulations in the state-of-the-art Camilla Bessey Thompson and Paul D. Thompson, M.D., Clinical Skills and Simulation Center.
- animal organ dissections and animal/human comparative anatomy in the Advanced Anatomy Lab.
- practicing hands-on clinical skills on mannequins such as intubation, IV insertion, assessing patient condition, and more.

After the on-campus immersion, participants receive one-on-one coaching from experienced TUSM faculty members who are intimately involved in the medical school curriculum. Coaching will equip each student with a personalized career development plan and personal narrative.

- Reflect on their values and motivators to build their future dream
- Evaluate healthcare fields that align with their future dream
- Construct short-term goals as bridges connecting to their future dream
