2022 Russo Collaborative Research Grant
We are pleased to announce this year's recipients of the Russo Collaborative Research Grant
The Russo Collaborative Research Grants have been made possible by a generous endowed gift from the Russo Family Foundation Charitable Trust to Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM). The award provides funding for new collaborative projects with faculty at TUSM. This year’s awardees are:
Jamie Maguire and Aseema Mohanty
Title: Technological development of an innovative strategy to improve resolution of microcircuit dynamics related to affective network and behavioral states.
Utilizing Mohanty’s expertise in nanophotonics and chip-scale imaging and Maguire’s expertise in network dynamics underlying emotional processing in the brain, the goal of their project is to develop novel tools to simultaneously measure the activity of multiple neuronal populations in vivo.
