Minmin Yen Named to MIT Tech Review's 35 under 35
Minmin Yen, PhD, a graduate of the Molecular Microbiology Program and current postdoc in the Camilli lab, is recognized by MIT Tech Review.
Minmin Yen, PhD, a 2017 graduate of the Molecular Microbiology Program and current postdoc in Andy Camilli's lab was among those recognized by the MIT Technology Review as one of 35 Innovators under 35. Minmin was cited for her work in founding PhagePro in the Humanitarian category. This work focuses on using bacteriophage, viruses that infect bacteria, to combat cholera, a devastating disease that affects large numbers of individuals world-wide. Minmin and her colleagues, Lynn Cairns and Andrew Camilli, were also recognized for their ideas in the Tufts 100K competition in 2016.
