Research/Areas of Interest:
I am investigating the role of alternative mRNA polyadenylation in SARS-CoV-2 replication and the host response. We analyze RNA-seq data from SARS-CoV-2-infected cells to identify differentially expressed genes and alternative polyadenylation events and determine how the infection affects the levels and interactions of the proteins of the polyadenylation machinery.
