Research/Areas of Interest
I am currently investigating the role HPA axis dysfunction in the pathophysiology of psychiatric comorbidities and mortality in epilepsy. I am particularly interested in investigating a pathway between CRH neurons in the PVN and the NTS and the effect of this circuit on autonomic function and seizure-induced death.
