Research/Areas of Interest
I am interested in many different areas of neuroscience, but especially those related to behavioral pharmacology, inflammatory processes in neurodegenerative disease, and the connection between the gut-brain axis and neuropsychiatric disorders.
Currently, I am working on an analysis of neuronal density within normal vs. atypical astrocyte areas, as part of the lab's atypical astrocytes in aging project. I also assist with the upkeep and organization of the lab and support various ongoing projects.
