Research/Areas of Interest
There is marked heterogeneity in the microenvironment experienced by Mycobacterium tuberculosis depending on its sublocation within its host. I am interested in uncovering how this non-uniformity may alter fundamental aspects of Mtb biology and thereby impact local infection and disease progression.
