Biography
Adela Hruby, PhD, MPH, MSMHC completed her public health and doctorate degrees at Tufts. She is a practicing mental health therapist. The responsible translation of science remains one of her priorities, notably in her work as a health educator. Adela completed her postdoctoral training at the Harvard School of Public Health, before joining the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University as a Scientist II in Nutritional Epidemiology. She no longer conducts research at Tufts, but teaches at the School of Nutrition and in the Public Health program of the School of Medicine.
