Biography
Dr. Jeffrey Marchant received his Ph.D in Cell, Molecular & Developmental Biology from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Tufts University. Following postdoctoral work at the University of Rochester, he returned to Tufts with NIH-funded research focusing on the cornea and intraocular pressure regulation.
Dr. Marchant teaches Histology (serving as Medical Curriculum Director) and Clinical Anatomy in the MD, DMD and MBS programs. Dr. Marchant serves on many Medical, Dental and University-wide committees that serve to promote curriculum development, the use of new instructional technologies in the classroom and the development of alternative approaches to traditional lecturing.
