Research/Areas of Interest
Throughout my research journey, I have gained extensive experience and skills in pattern recognition from complex and heterogeneous datasets across various health-relevant disciplines. My long-term research goal is to contribute to discovering, validating, and applying OMICs-based biomarkers for personalized medicine and precision health. My goals include (1) using DNAm datasets to build risk prediction models for obesity-related cancers; and (2) developing and integrating ecologically relevant and statistically robust methods for the integration and analysis of microbiome datasets.
