Research/Areas of Interest

Our research is focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms controlling the identity and functional states of CD4 helper T cells and how their dysregulation leads to the loss of immune homeostasis in various disease settings. Major interests include: the roles of cis-regulatory DNA elements in controlling cellular identities of CD4 T cells; the molecular mechanisms by which CD4 T cells functionally adapt to diverse tissue and immune microenvironments.
