Sub-goals
- Develop clinical, academic and community partnerships to address local population health needs
Research
- Articulate a vision for a community serving research agenda including clinical translational science, population health and public health
Education/Clinical and Public Health Practice
- Train students on principles of care management of clinical populations
- Increase the primary care workforce
- Train students on the principles and practices of public health, including but not limited to the important role that clinicians and clinical care play in public health
- Train students on interprofessional approaches to improve population health and public health
- Train students to advocate for the health of populations
