DPT MOU Partnerships
As part of our commitment to fostering collaboration and providing diverse pathways to doctoral-level physical therapy education, Tufts’ Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) programs have established Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with select colleges and universities across the United States. These MOUs offer special benefits and advantages to bachelor's degree graduates from partner institutions who are interested in pursuing their DPT degree at Tufts.
Eligible students from partner institutions may receive the following benefits when applying to Tufts DPT programs:
- Priority application review if verified in PTCAS by October 1
- Guaranteed admission if you meet the application requirements
- Access to exclusive events and resources

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the benefits provided by the MOUs, students must meet specific eligibility criteria, including:
- Completion of a bachelor's degree from a partner institution.
- Complete their application and have it verified in PTCAS by October 1.
- Compliance with program-specific admission requirements. View admissions requirements.
- Applicants from MOU schools can apply having completed 5 of the 10 courses but must have all 10 courses completed to enroll.
How to Apply
Ready to take advantage of the benefits offered by our MOUs? Follow these steps to apply:
- Review the eligibility criteria to ensure you meet all application requirements.
- Create an account through the PTCAS website and select the Tufts DPT program(s) you wish to apply to.
- Complete the online application and submit all necessary documents.
- Upon receipt of your application by our admissions team and confirmation of meeting eligibility criteria, your application will be treated as a Tufts MOU application.
- Contact the admissions office for assistance or further information.
