Why did you choose to pursue this degree?
"I intend to address the lack of rural healthcare access and explore its role in health outcomes and want to fully understand the situation in order to design and implement a plan to successfully improve rural health outcomes."
What has your experience been like so far?
"The beginning of my experience was rocky as I fought to find the right balance between school, family, and other responsibilities, but I’m figuring it out and finding success in my new groove."
What is your favorite aspect about the program?
"I love the synchronous work with peers, putting principles into perspective by applying them to real examples, learning from each others’ experiences, and supporting each other when the material—or life in general—gets tough."
What do you want a prospective student to know about Tufts?
"You can do more than you realize as you reach out to others and form networks of virtual support. Do the little things and the grades will happen."
