In addition, volunteer opportunities within the TuftsCARES Initiative combine your classroom learning with clinical experiences, and opportunities to give back to the communities where students work and live.

Personalized Advising and Mentoring

Acceptance into medical or dental school isn’t easy, but the Tufts MBS program is here to support you every step of the way. The MBS Academic Partnership Initiative pairs students with an experienced pre-professional advisor to mentor you through academics, MCAT preparation, and the professional school application process.

Connect to Cutting-Edge Resources

Tufts MBS students have access to exceptional learning resources. The Tufts University Sciences Knowledgebase (TUSK) is an award-winning electronic database, which contains over two million content items, including medical images, electronic syllabi, lecture slides, video recordings, full-text journal articles, and numerous other research and study resources. You’ll also have full access to the Hirsh Health Sciences Library, used by Tufts University School of Medicine and Dental Medicine faculty, clinicians, and students.

Go Further with a Dual Degree

Tufts dual degree programs give MBS students the chance to build a wider range of skills – and pursue a more diverse range of career options.

The MBS/MPH dual degree prepares students to work in a public health setting in pharmaceuticals and biotech, medical research and other health organizations.
