From clinical courses to academic support, find out why our alumni call the Tufts MBS program "completely life changing." Meet Genevieve Spagnuolo, MBS17, to get the inside scoop on why so many students rave about our program.

Which MBS resource did you find most helpful?
"Definitely the faculty—their approachability and availability was unlike anything I'd seen in undergrad, and they were genuinely invested in the success of each student. They also took the time to get to know everyone, which really helped when it came to getting composite letters for med school applications."

How did the MBS program impact your academics?
"The program goes above and beyond when it comes to helping students study. If you get a poor exam grade, they'll reach out to connect you with someone who can assess and refine your study habits. It taught me so much about my learning style and gave me a huge leg up in med school."

What was the most memorable course you took?
"Anatomy was completely transformative to my education. It taught me an incredible amount of information about the human body and how it functions. We even had the opportunity to go into a cadaver lab to see it all first-hand, which helped tremendously with understanding recall."

What was your overall favorite part of the program?
"It renewed confidence in myself and my passion for medicine. My undergrad experience left me questioning if I was cut out for medicine—but the MBS program showed me that I could do it and do it well. It was completely life changing."
