In September 2020, the Tufts community lost a cherished member with the passing of John “Jack” Erban, MD, M81. To extend his legacy, a growing group of donors have created a memorial scholarship.
"I came to Tufts with a background in molecular biology and neuroscience from Princeton University. I knew a lot about molecules and cells, but I didn’t really see the full picture. Medical school gave me perspective."
"I’m on the Anti-Racism Task Force for the medical school. I worked on the curriculum for the first- and second-year students and made recommendations to faculty. I’m glad to be able to say a great amount of material has been changed."
“It has been a dream of mine to become a member of the Tufts University School of Medicine Admissions Committee. It's the ultimate way to influence the incoming class and make sure it is diverse and inclusive."
