Matt Gooden, MBS20
"You should realize that when you come to Tufts, you're joining a family of successful, intriguing, and like-minded individuals that want to see you excel in life."
With so many options and factors to consider, when choosing the right educational path for your career goals, it might be helpful to hear from someone who's been there. Meet MBS alum, Matt Gooden, MBS20.
Why did you choose the Tufts MBS program?
"I heard a lot of impressive stories about the individualized advising MBS students receive. At the end of the day, I chose Tufts because while looking for a program that would challenge me academically, I was looking for a program that would support me every step along the way."
What was the biggest surprise about your Tufts experience?
"I was really surprised at how integrated distinct programs could be. Tufts offers an interdisciplinary environment where you interact with fellow students from programs like Medicine, Dentistry, PhD, PA, MPH, MBA, Nutrition, and more. That's a unique opportunity."
What have you loved most about your time at Tufts?
"The faculty and staff go above and beyond for each and every student. You'll have your Academic Partner as a primary mentor, but you can reach out to any faculty or staff member and they will help you—whether with another opinion on a cover letter, information about post-graduate job opportunities, or feedback on areas of your medical school application that could use improvement."
What should prospective students know about the MBS program at Tufts?
"You should realize that when you come to Tufts, you're joining a family of successful, intriguing, and like-minded individuals that want to see you excel in life."
